Michael, how and when did you know that you wanted to be a fashion designer?
I started sketching fashion at the age of 5 and helped design my Mom's wedding dress for her second wedding. By the age of 14, I knew that fashion was my calling.
What is the one thing a woman has to pack when she is traveling?
A black cashmere v-neck sweater.... It works on the plane, under a suit, with jeans and with a beaded skirt for black tie. It is simply the perfect garment.
Michael, will you ever make any of your bags in primary and pastel colors? I have purchased several of your bags and love the quality of the leather and now only buy your bags, but I am looking for a red, navy blue, yellow or orange bag.
We are starting to experiment with color - both primary and pastel. Particularly in handbags, you will see that colorful bags will be a year-round thing, not just for warm weather.
Dear Michael: I'm a 58 year old woman and would like to buy a bathing suit but I have a large waist. Can you recommend something? Thanks for your help!
The tankini two piece suit - a separate top and bottom that does not show the midriff is the ideal answer. It is sleek, modern and most of all comfortable all at the same time.
