Michael Kors, what would you say are the "must haves" for creating the "jet-set look" wardrobe?
Well first off, you will need some sunglasses because no matter what you are wearing they set the tone. Whether they are big and fabulous oversized glasses like Jackie-O's or a sleek metallic aviator -- sunglasses always give the feeling of speed and a touch of glamour. Next item would be a perfect black cashmere pullover -- it can go with jeans, trousers, a pencil skirt, or a beaded skirt. I am a fan of heels, whether they be a strappy sandal or the perfect pump -- especially in croc or python. A trench coat is another staple that can go from carpool to the Carlyle Hotel -- over jeans or over a cocktail dress -- you cannot go wrong.
Michael -- I absolutely LOVE your work. I'm a "40-something" grandmother and find that many of your styles complement my age and provide a look that I am comfortable with. I live just outside of Chicago and can speak for many...will we ever be blessed with a Michael Kors store?
