POOR PACKAGING
I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the recent online purchase I made through the website. Aside from waiting too long for the product to arrived, the item I bought online was intended as a special Christmas gift for my wife, it was delivered today, December 31, 2024, via Post. Unfortunately, the packaging did not meet the expectations I had for a luxury brand like Michael Kors.
The bag was shipped in a sub-standard, unbranded plastic delivery package. Although the delicate areas were wrapped with paper and foam for protection, I was still disappointed that it was not presented in a way befitting a premium product. I had anticipated that the bag would arrive in a branded box or at least with a Michael Kors care bag, and I also expected a paper bag to complete the presentation. As this was meant to be a heartfelt surprise, the lack of thoughtful packaging significantly diminished the excitement of giving this gift.
I have always associated Michael Kors with quality and sophistication, not only in terms of the products themselves but also in the overall customer experience. Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling let down. For a brand of your stature, I believe that attention to detail, especially in packaging and presentation, is just as important as the quality of the product.
I called customer service to address my dissatisfaction and requested a proper box, or a Michael Kors care bag, and an additional paper bag so I can present this gift to my wife in a manner that aligns with the standards of the brand. Unfortunately, they cannot send me those request, instead they suggested to just return the item and place another order in the same item and wait again for another delivery schedule. I still agreed to that but the thing is the color I wanted was no longer available, so they left me with no option.
This is extremely disappointing as it's my second purchase of a Michael Kors product that I'm not satisfied. I have to return the first one due to damage, which involved more than an hour- long trip to return the item. I then placed a second order, but when it arrived the packaging was substandard, which is unacceptable for a brand of this caliber.

Cute but don’t like the strap
The chain strap is driving me crazy. Won’t stay put, slips all over the place. Purse a little too small. Can fit my keys, wallet and phone. No room for sunglasses or anything else. Too bad. The shape is cute and love the colour.

Unable to buy the bag; I added it to my cart and checked out and a few days later I got an email that the bag was out of stock and that I’d be refunded. Still waiting for the refund.
