Michael Kors Met Gala 2022

GILDED GLAMOUR

The most glamorous night in fashion returned to the first Monday in May this year, and Michael Kors was front and center. This year’s Met Gala continued exploration into American fashion with the second installation of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s two-part exhibition, titled In America: An Anthology of Fashion. Michael arrived arm-in-arm with his date for the evening—Golden Globe-winning actress Sigourney Weaver—in addition to dressing Grammy Award-winning musician Ciara, influencer and entrepreneur Lori Harvey, social media sensation Addison Rae, multihyphenate actress Eiza González and models He Cong, Anok Yai and Rianne Van Rompaey. Ostrich feathers, recycled sequins and thousands of mirrored accents emphasized a fine focus on detail, as Michael shined a light on the craftsmanship of gilded glamour.
