Opening the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s new spring 2025 Costume Institute exhibition “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” celebrating Black dandyism, this year’s fête featured the dress code “Tailored for You.” Michael arrived in style with his date for the evening—Grammy Award-winning musician Megan Thee Stallion—in addition to creating looks for actress and musician Suki Waterhouse, supermodel Ugbad Abdi, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, award-winning director, actor and musician Whitney White, and Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Samira Nasr. Pristine tailoring, glittering crystals and meticulous hand embroidery stole the show as Michael and his guests celebrated the night in style.
